CompareZone.ca ("we", "us", "our") helps Canadians compare phone and internet plans. We respect your privacy and collect as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, address, or payment details. The information we collect is limited to:
- Usage data (analytics).When you visit, our analytics tools automatically record standard technical information such as your approximate location (city/region), device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. This is used in aggregate to understand traffic and improve the site.
- Cookies. Small files stored by your browser that help measure site usage (see below).

CompareZone currently uses no affiliate or referral links, so no referral identifier is passed to any carrier when you follow a link from this site. If we add them, we will update this policy before doing so, and a commission would never change which plan we recommend.

Our site links to carrier websites and other third parties. Once you leave CompareZone.ca, this policy no longer applies — those sites have their own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review.
How we use information
We use the limited data we collect only to operate and improve the site — understanding which guides and tools are useful, fixing problems, and keeping our plan data relevant. We do not sell your personal information.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request corrections, and to withdraw consent for its collection.
