CompareZone.ca ("we", "us", "our") helps Canadians compare phone and internet plans. We respect your privacy and collect as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, address, or payment details. The information we collect is limited to:

  • Usage data (analytics).When you visit, our analytics tools automatically record standard technical information such as your approximate location (city/region), device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. This is used in aggregate to understand traffic and improve the site.
  • Cookies. Small files stored by your browser that help measure site usage (see below).

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf. How we use information

We use the limited data we collect only to operate and improve the site — understanding which guides and tools are useful, fixing problems, and keeping our plan data relevant. We do not sell your personal information.

Under PIPEDA you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request corrections, and to withdraw consent for its collection.
